December 1936 - graduates from the Riga flight school Sport Aviator program.
1937 - enrolls in military college (Rank: Corporal)
Maintains his flight skills by participating in the Latvian Aero Club's Reserve Squadron.
1939 - Graduates from Military College and is assigned directly to the Aviation Regiment. (Rank: Lieutenant)
March 23, 1937 - assigned to the 8th Naval Reconnaissance unit, stationed in Liepaja.
1943 - 1944 (German occupation) - Grube serves as an instructor at the Liepaja-Grobini flight school, preparing latvian aviators
for the Luftwaffe Legion Lettland.
After the war, emigrates to the USA.
