- 1937 - graduates from flight school
- June 4, 1940 - Morkan's passenger dies, and he himself is severly injured, in the crash of SV-5 # 111 at Gulbene.
- Rank: corporal
- 1989 - participated in a ceremony honoring the memory of Gen. J. Basko.
- June 30, 1990 - participated in a Riga gathering celebrating the founding of the Aviation Regiment.
