REIMANIS, VISVALDIS

• July 25, 1913 - Born, in Liepaja
• Graduated from military college, assigned to the Aviation Division.
• Attended flight school, but was in the last class whose training was interrupted by the Soviet invasion.
• 1942 - (German occupation) - volunteered for the military, assigned to the 21st Liepajas batallion.
• April 1942 - served on the Leningrad front.
• February 1944 - wounded in battle (lost a leg), evacuated to Germany.
• After the war, he settles in Germany for ten years.
• December 14, 1955 - emigrates to the USA
• May 30, 1989 - Died, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA
