August 19, 1919 - transfers to the Aviation section and serves as a mechanic with the rank of Corporal.
On June 29, 1920 Sabulis goes up in DFW C.V #22 with pilot Augusts Sparins. Sparins was a relatively inexperienced
pilot and slipped into a spin shortly after takeoff. The airplane crashed into an orchard in Ilguciems and both pilot and
passenger died.
