- July 11, 1937 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Kuldiga.
- July 25, 1937 - participtes in the Aviation Festival at Rujiena.
- September 26-27, 1937 - flying as a passenger with Lesinskis, participates in the second "Flight Around Latvija" contest.
- July 10, 1938 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Kuldiga.
- July 24, 1938 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Rujiena
- July 31, 1938 - participates in the Aviation Fesitval at Liepaja
- September 25, 1938 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Cesis.
- October 1-2, 1938 - in LKOD-2 #25, with V.Plose as passenger, participated in the third "Flight Around Latvia" competition.
- January 13, 1939 - serves as a flight instructor for the 4th graduating class of the LAK's Riga flight school.
- July 2, 1939 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Rujiena.
- July 30, 1939 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Krimulda.
- August 6, 1939 - participates in the Aviation Festival at Ventspils.
- during the Soviet occupaton, Svalbe joined a partisan group and died fighting the Soviets.
