Near the end of the war he escaped to Germany where, when the hostilities ended, he secured employment with UNRRA, supervising its technical department.
Responsible for hiring engineers and other technical staff for the construction and operation of Displaced Persons camps throughout Germany.
1949 - emigrated to the United States. Found employment with DuPont, where he worked in a technical skilled capacity until his retirement.
July 10, 1998 - Died, in Woodbury, New Jersey, USA
