April 26Nikolajs Pulins and his team of craftsmen complete "Spriditis - Type P.1". It is test flown by Augusts Lazdins.
May 24 Arveds Skurbe joins the Aviation Division.
June 1 Peteris Abrams and Augusts Behmanis die in the crash of Savoia S.16 #4. June 7 On the Aviation Regiment's 5th anniversary the Latvian Aero Club presents it with its own flag/colours. This gift was designed and prepared by the LAK at a cost of about 10,000 rubles. June 15 Aviation Festival at Spilve.
July 1 The Gourdou-Lesseure GL-21 is demonstrated at Spilve, flown by french pilot Devillers.
August 26-30 Six latvians make the first Latvian goodwill flight abroad, taking three SVA-10 aircraft to Tallinn.
September 1 The Aviation Regiment receives its Gourdou Lesseure B3. September 2 The second election of Latvian Aero Club Board members, replacing chairman A.Valleika with N.Sudmalis. September 9 The Latvian Aero Club announces a competition for designing and building the LAK's first aircraft.
December 16 The Aviation Regiment receives its first two Avro 548Ns, #32 and #33.
- The LAB becomes Latvijas Aeroklubs (Latvian Aero Club) with retired aviator Capt.Janis Lindbergs as their first president.
- The Ministry of Transport erect two large, modern hangars at Spilve for airline and private use.
- Upmalis designs and builds his own sailplane, then makes a flight of about 90 minutes, a record not surpassed by another Latvian pilot for many years to come.
