- The first Aviation Festival hosted by the Daugavpils chapter of the Latvian Aero Club since 1935.

- Particularly well-received was a display of inverted flight by Mikelsons and Jakobsons' flight with the engine turned off.
- The weather was fine, and over 9,000 spectators attended the event.
